What's RiderState?
RiderState is a social game for bicycle users. Join the adventure to conquer the World by bicycle while you deal with others Riders to achieve the goal of govern all territories. Download the RiderState App (available on Android and iOS) and take part in the new global movement.

Opened Beta
From 14 April, 2014, the Opened Beta of RiderState is available on Google Play and App Store. We continue working hard to improve the app every day, because we want you to enjoy with the best game for bicycle users.

How can I play in RiderState?
Download the app on Google Play, for Android, and App Store, for iOS devices. Turn on the app and get ready to play in RiderState while you conquer your street, neighborhood or city with your bike.

“RiderState Testing Programme”
During the first development months, we created a group of players with access to the app. This group is called the "RiderState Testing Programme". If you have received the activation code is because you are part of this program. The goal was easy: test the app before the launch.

The Game
How to play?
Download the app (Android and iOS) and sign in with your email or with your Facebook profile.

Entering the app and rec your first activity into RiderState:
  • You start recording your bike rides by pressing the red button in the Play section.
  • During your activity, you will see the length of your ride, the Lands you ride for in your bicycle and the points you're getting for it.
  • Also, you can see in real time your position on the map of the conquest.
  • Once you finish your exit, press the Stop button and the app will show you the summary of your activity.
Which are the goals?
Entering RiderState you start the process of being part of The RiderState Movement, the new social current which tries to conquer the world with your bike.

And the Rider has 2 goals:
  • Conquer the biggest number of territories (Lands) with your bike.
  • Pass to the following levels, show loyalty to "The Movement" by making a number of valid rides and become an Activist of RiderState.
What is a Land?
You will discover a new World into the RiderState app. This World is divided into millions of the territories of 100x100 metres. Each territory is called Land. These Lands must be dominated by the Riders.
How can I conquer a Land?
To conquer a Land into RiderState you need have more than 2 valid steps into each Land. So, if you want to be the conqueror of the Land, you must win the largest number of possible steps into each territory.
When do I know that the activity is valid?
An activity is valid for the game when the track has more than 200 metres.
How do I score on a Land?
For every activity an user only can score a valid step into one Land. However, an user can score into one Land 2 times maximum on the last 24 hours.
How many steps do I need to conquer the Land?
A Land is conquered when the Rider scores at least 3 valid steps on it.

If one Land has two or more users with the same score, the Conqueror will be the Rider who was the first to hit the maximum score into the Land.
How can I see my conquered Lands?
The Lands will be shown with different colors on the map of the conquest (RiderState Map):
  • Blue: These are areas for where only you have ridden in RiderState.
  • Yellow: territories in which you are the conqueror.
  • Red: territories conquered by other Riders.

In addition, you can see your conquered Lands in the section of My Lands.
What does the colors of the Lands mean?
The lands will be shown with different colors:
  • Blue: These are areas for where only you have ridden in RiderState.
  • Yellow: territories in which you are the conqueror.
  • Red: territories conquered by other Riders.
What does the number of the Lands mean?
Is the number of the valid steps of the Conqueror at this moment.
Leaderboard
In the RiderState section you can see the Leaderboard:
  • Score: The ranking about the scoring that the Riders have achieved in their activities.
  • Lands: This ranking is based in the number of valid steps of each Rider.
  • Conquered: The Riders with the largest number of the conquered Lands at this moment.
Badges
In the RiderState section you can see the Badges. Once the Rider goes doing activities into the RiderState app, he goes accumulating these personal achievements.

The most important Badge is the Activist into "The Movement".
How can I become an Activist?
Once the Rider goes doing activities into the app, there are different sections will be discovered for you. Then, you will see the goals that you can beat in this first version. Remember that we have a priority goal: conquer the largest number of possible Lands into RiderState.
